Orange mittai is a popular Indian sweet, particularly beloved in Tamil Nadu. It’s a bright and flavorful treat made from fresh orange juice, sugar, and sometimes a little lemon juice. The mixture is cooked until it reaches a thick, jam-like consistency, then poured into a tray to set. Once it’s cooled and firm, it’s cut into squares or diamonds.
